rolling stone miss you blondie

You should know Jerry Hall, an American model and actress who is originally from Gonzales, Texas. She is well known for her long-term relationship with Mick Jagger, with whom she had four children (including the seductive, Miss Georgia May). The Rolling Stones' famous song "Miss You" from their "Some Girls" album was written by Jagger for Hall. Till this day she is still modeling and lives gracefully in Downe House, Richmond, Surrey.

You should also know fashion illustrator Antonio Lopez, who started Hall's career with these early images back in the 70's. Lopez explored themes of queer desire and race in his art through cultural references. He has appeared in such publications as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Interview, and The New York Times.  Though he tragically died in '87 due to complications with AIDS in Los Angeles, his work still lives strong!

Love,
Andrea
